Sunesis is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support heavy civil construction projects from planning through completion. Working alongside Project Managers and Project Executives, you’ll gain hands-on experience in project coordination, budgeting, scheduling, field operations, and client collaboration.

What You’ll Do
- Assist Project Managers with planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects.
- Support project scheduling and track project progress.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including submittals and transmittals.
- Participate in jobsite visits and collaborate with field teams.
- Assist with change management and scope modifications.
- Track labor, quantities, costs, production data, and project performance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, invoice processing, and cost coding.
- Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Promote safety, quality, and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.
- Internship, co-op, or prior construction experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Interest in construction and delivering successful projects.
