Job Title: Roll-Off Driver

Job Summary: Roll-Off Drivers are responsible for preparing, securing, and transporting open top and compactor containers to various disposal sites, including landfills, transfer facilities, and customer jobsite locations. This role requires navigating driveways, alleyways, job sites, and traffic-filled roadways, including operating in tight environments and backing up long distances.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicle in accordance with SUNESIS CONTAINER SERVICES Safety Rules, OSHA, DOT, and all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
- Report any unsafe situations, service-related issues, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to dispatch.
- Communicate with dispatch to improve route production and perform duties efficiently.
- Complete and submit work orders and driver logs as required.
- Deliver and return containers to customer properties in a safe and proper manner, ensuring traffic thruways are not blocked.
- Follow assigned routes and understand customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a CDL vehicle or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with an air brake endorsement.
- Acceptable driving record required.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, including previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.
Schedule:
- Home daily
- Home weekends
- Monday to Friday (Potential Saturday)
- Year-round work
