Sunesis Environmental simultaneously performed asbestos abatement and demolition services to five apartment buildings strategically allowing the adjacent buildings to remain occupied.

Sunesis Construction performed new roadway construction as well as the required underground infrastructure including stormwater and sewer surrounding the OSU athletic fields

Sunesis Environmental performed selective demolition, full scale structural demolition and asbestos abatement of the existing Lexington Convention Center and Rupp Arena in preparation for the building of the new Central Bank Center.

Sunesis Construction installed an earthen retention system to allow for the new construction of the Central Bank Center and performed all associated site work and underground utilities needed.

University of Kentucky

Student Center and Alumni Gymnasium

Sunesis Environmental performed asbestos abatement and structural demolition to the existing student union center as well as selective demolition to the historic alumni gymnasium. This was done in preparation for new construction.

Sunesis Construction supported the project by building a temporary support system within the historic alumni gymnasium to allow for reconstruction. In addition, all site work and underground utilities for the new buildings were performed.

Sunesis Environmental performed full scale demolition of the existing warehouses as well as selective demolition on the warehouses to remain. Work also included the demolition of the existing exterior concrete pavement.

Sunesis Construction followed by installing all underground utilities, site work grading, new concrete pavement for loading docks and truck staging areas as well as asphalt paving to the employee parking lot.

Sunesis Environmental was responsible for demolition of the existing Chalet building that is to be rebuilt and extended along the main Paddock area.

Sunesis Construction was responsible for all sitework and grading which includes excavating the building pad for a new Operations and Chalet building. New storm, sanitary, and water lines were installed as well as a 600 ft beam and lagging retaining wall that extends up to 20 ft below ground level.

Scott and Minnich Halls

Sunesis Environmental performed asbestos abatement and selective demolition to two university classroom buildings, Scott and Minnich Halls for a full renovation.

Sunesis Construction simultaneously installed new underground utilities including storm drainage as well as a new fire main. Work also included all surrounding site work in preparation for a new exterior building entrance to Scott and Minnich Halls.

Sunesis Construction reshaped the entire site by moving 120,000 cubic yards of dirt and gravel. New storm, sanitary, and water lines were installed to accommodate the future planned construction of up to 350,000 SF of advanced manufacturing building space.
