Founded in 1991 by owner, Rick Jones, Sunesis Construction has thrived as a leader for 30 years in the industry of heavy civil construction. With an impressive and technologically advanced fleet of equipment & supplies, we have the ability to self-perform projects saving our valued clients time and money. Armed with a background in both accounting and construction, Rick Jones started Sunesis Construction in 1991 hoping to improve the lives of those dearest to him. From inception, Rick relied on talented and hardworking people to grow the operation into one of the largest and best in the region. His desire and ability to develop individuals lead to significant professional growth and opportunities for advancement within the organization.
Over the past thirty years, Sunesis became proficient in a wide range of construction disciplines. Always on the search for new challenges, Sunesis expects continued expansion of our skillset and reputation far into the future.
Rick’s initial mantras of “Say what you will do and do what you say” and “the money is in the details” still permeates the organization’s culture to this day.
